I asked myself: How did all of this happen?
From a young age, I felt a strong urge to explore, driven by a restless mind shaped by books of explorers like Jule Verne and daydreams of distant, exotic places. Staying in one place for too long never felt natural to me.
Right after high school, inspired by Into the Wild, a close friend and I set out on a road trip across the United States, driving from Miami to San Francisco via Route 66 and Slab City (the last free place in America) on “Alexander Supertramps” footprints. We had little money and slept in a rented car for weeks, but the sense of freedom was unmatched. That journey, filled with chance encounters, vast landscapes, and the kindness of strangers, marked the beginning of a longing for a life shaped by movement and curiosity.
Around a decade later, in January 2024, after years of working in environmental science, carbon consulting, and completing my PhD in carbon footprinting, I committed to a life full of wonders and traveling full-time without flying as part of my ongoing Zero Impact Expedition, guided by a simple principle: to leave every place I pass through better than I found it.
Since then, I’ve visited around 50 countries across six continents and taken part in major expeditions, including journeys to Antarctica, the Amazon, and sailing across the Atlantic. Over time, my work evolved from simpler travel content creation to collaborative videography with NGOs, expedition operators and local initiatives, and from there to directing and producing documentaries to show you NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE!
